Govt has a major role to play in improving the recessionary condition.

-the govt shud encourages, businesses as it helps in getting the foriegn fund flows.

-provide credit to the businesses.

-focus on tax collection to meet up the expenditures.

- slash budgets on unnecesary expenditures like military, defence, legislative etc.

Well Economic crisis are a crisis which are due to big failure of European economies.

We are just facing a slowdown not a real recession
i think to come out of this slow down we should do following things -

1- We must focus on rural and unstrapped markets because 70% of India's population lives in rural area and for trapping those rural markets we must increase and promote manufacturing sector, especially FMCG sector companies to generate quick revenues.
2- We must empower closed textile mills and agriculture products producing companies.
3- We must increase the exports by exporting electronics items, spices, pickles and other products because i think this can generate huge income and foreign revenue reserve.
4- We must focus on organic farming and herbal farming fields which have good scope of exports and sales in the market.
5- We must try to explore unique and new business areas to improve GDP and National Income.
6- There must be good check on people's earnings to improve tax collection and govt must look after citizens to pay tax if their earnings comes under income tax slab.
7- Industries like electronics and FMCG products units must be motivated and supported by government.
8- India must export maximum items to African nations.

It is really not easier to control of the economic recession until and unless we shall not comprehend suitable triggers and may not take serious methods for manipulating the major causes simply because robust economic system needs a robust economic policies and strategies. It takes on an important position in providing the power economy.

Use this as an opportunity to increase your skill set. Network more with other people. Sooner or later you will find a job.

Easier said than done. But something that one can't escape.

In recession, if you are laid off or finding it difficult to land a job, you should:
  • Network more and invite people to have a cup of coffee with you.
  • Read more and gather a broad understanding of business and the environment around. Read things you are passionate about.
  • Do more. Try to start a small business or figure out ways to freelance or make some pocket change. You'll need it to keep yourself occupied when you don't have much to do.

Decrease in personal consumption, over spending, exorbitant imports, inflation, cyclical economy, high interest rates, sky high energy prices, trade deficit, consequent wars, subprime mortgage crisis, massive personal debts and debt trap, Clinton administration, Bush administration (or even Obama’s election promises?!!!!); who (or what) is to blame the reason for the recession, the worst ever in the history? Is it a single cause or a chain of issues? There are lot of guesses and views spreading around about how long the recession will last and how deep the recession is! If you look at the list of recessions in the United States from 1797, the minimum length of a recession has been one year (the last one in 1990-1991) and the maximum 23 years (1873-1896) though it may not be that extreme this time due to a long list of underlying differences between then and now!
