You were walking down the road and saw a cool smartphone worth INR 39,997. On planning to buy it, you burrowed INR 20,000 from your mom and another INR 20,000 from your dad. You bought the Smart phone and got back INR 3 in change from which you paid INR 1 to your mom and INR 1 to your dad and kept INR 1 with yourself.

Now you owe your parents INR 19,999 each.

INR 19,999 + INR 19,999 + your INR 1= INR 39,999

Where did the remaining INR 1 go ?:SugarwareZ-158:

INR 1 is with me only so I have to subtract it from 39998 not need to add it

Another one :

At the local F1 race track, Eddie was testing the latest car.

During the eight test laps, he managed to average the first two laps at 100mph, the next two laps at 102mph, the next two laps at 140mph and the last two laps at 150mph.

What was his average speed for the entire 8 laps?

According to the traditional song, on the first day of Christmas (25th December), my true love sent to me:

. A partridge in a pear tree

On the second day of Christmas (26th December), my true love sent to me THREE presents:

. Two turtle doves
. A partridge in a pear tree

On the third day of Christmas (27th December and so on) my true love sent to me SIX presents:

. Three French hens
. Two turtle doves
. A partridge in a pear tree

This carries on until the the twelfth day of Christmas, when my true love sends me:

Twelve drummers drumming
Eleven pipers piping
Ten lords a-leaping
Nine ladies dancing
Eight maids a-milking
Seven swans a-swimming
Six geese a-laying
Five gold rings
Four calling birds
Three French hens
Two turtle doves
A partridge in a pear tree

After the twelve days of Christmas are over, how many presents has my true love sent me altogether?
