In today‘s era people are becoming materialistic, considering their own self and trying to get successes through any mean, the ethics that has to be followed by one is nowhere in the current scenario. Ethics is not given much importance. People want to get their work done without following ethics. Now-a-days ethics have last place whether it is related to one‘s life or business.
People are losing confidence day by day towards business the current business the current scam which is occurring demoralized people from ethical point. To gain the confidence of the people, the business firms need to follow ethics in all their business activities.
Following ethics in business will improve the corporate image of the firm. Being ethical will also improve the overall environment of the business firm. Good business ethics can be an instant recipe for a successful business. We cannot have a successful business if we take advantage of people. Maybe for a short time, but not in the long run. Hence it is necessary to treat everyone with respect, adopt ethics in all activities of business and wait and enjoy the profits and advantages of it.
A business cannot continue to prosper without an ethical base. A few successes can be coincidences or flukes but persistent success can only be a result of a strong foundation of ethics. Lowered trust among investors can devastate a company‘s ability to attract support for growth.
