Agreed that IAS is one of the toughest exam to crack...but the point is once they become government officers they rarely do their duties in good faith or rather I should say the system doesnt allow them to perform their duties diligently......these babus obstruct, deny and sabotage each and everything that is in their hands...

honest officers are not allowed to work in the system and consequently their families face a lot of hardships....tht to being a top grade officer

and even the Magsasay award winner Arvind Kejriwal has quit his top grade job and he is not alone there are many others who did quit this job.

So I personally dont feel that IAS is still worth pursuing when you dont get to serve with utmost honesty and other thing which stands as the obstacle is our Indian bureaucracy.
