niche marketing is primarily about charging extra premium from your small segment of customers for the services that help them to differentiate themselves........it is profitable since it has cost advantage attached to it and also since customers are well aware of the fact that they are given special prefernce they patronise the product.this basically help in retaining ur customers which in long run helps to increse profits.everyone is well aware of the fact that acquiring a new customer is 5 -13% more costlier then keepin old,and customers in niche marketing are primarily ones who are like core customers and remain loyal...so in my opinion niche marketing is anyday beter.
