How can leaders foster credibility within them?
Credible leaders make a decision and stand firm on that decision. In a nutshell, credible leaders are relatively predictable. They are transparent and honest to their people.
He is a responsive leader. Leaders are judged credible when their words match their behavior and if people doesn't see the steadiness in your words Vis a Vis your actions, you will be charged as someone not really serious or worst is, a hypocrite.
Credible leaders are the followers of their own rules. Credibility has got to be embedded in every leaders mind. If a leader doesn't possess credibility, they will find it very difficult to put forth power, influence and inspiration to others

Before asking others to do something or behave in a certain manner, it is prudent upon us to set our own example by behaving consistently. We cannot teach others the virtues of austerity and simplicity if our personal example belies our sermons.
