The origination of this concept of Value Leadership came when there was comparison of companies that emerged as Value Leaders

The seven basic values which emerged as given top priority and were practiced and followed were:

Value Human Relationships which means treating people with respect so that they achieve their full potential consistent with the company's interests

Fostering Teamwork that means getting people with different functional skills and responsibilities to work together to advance the interests of the corporation

Experimenting Frugality which means harnessing accidental discoveries to create value for customers and partners

Fulfilling your commitments; say what you intend to do, and do what you say

Fighting complacency to weed out arrogance.


Winning through multiple means by using a strategy to sustain market leadership

Giving Your Community a chance to transfer corporate resources to society.



The complementary traits of the leader that go hand in hand with the principles followed in the valued organizations

Honest Display sincerity, integrity, and candor in all your actions.

Avoid decision making based on childlike emotional desires or feelings.

Set goals and have a vision of the future. The vision must be owned throughout the organization.

Effective leaders envision what they want and how to get it.

By showing endurance in mental, physical, and spiritual stamina inspire others to reach for new heights

Illustrate fair treatment to all people Prejudice is the enemy of justice.

Have the firmness to accomplish a goal regardless of the seemingly insoluble obstacles.

Display a confident calmness when under stress.

Use sound judgment to make good decisions at the right time


Show creativity by thinking of new and better goals, ideas, and solutions to problems. Be innovative
