• To form part of a growing and winning Lighting Solutions ‘major project-focused’ team targeted at both meeting and exceeding our overall level of ambitious KEC sales & profit growth aspirations & goals as agreed with your Manager.
• To bring to KEC’s team additional expertise, knowledge; capability and contacts in the lighting field and in turn the ability to ‘package’ & offer a winning one-stop lighting solution offering/strategy.
• To be capable of designing appropriate solutions - using lighting industry software such as Dialux and Relux in respect of the above products and systems in accordance with lighting design concepts & industry norms.
• To be capable at estimating/pricing prospective offers to customers on a timely basis.
• To be capable of ‘selling’ these solutions to prospective specifiers; end-users and/or corporate clients [and then ultimately to local based installation contractors].
• To provide total proactive co-ordination of the company's “major project-focused” lighting portfolio with the customer, overall Sales Administration & Customer Service Team; and KEC’s lighting suppliers and ‘lighting partners’ .
• To interact on a pro-active basis with KEC’s lighting ‘partners’ and principals in turn providing them with timely project updates and business progress reports and forecasts.
• To strive for complete customer satisfaction & professionalism in support of the company's aspirations of building a significant market share in lighting solutions.
Skills:
Degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in Lighting Solutions
• To be a good disciplined engineer
• To have a trouble-shooter and problem solver mentality.
• To be willing to grasp new technology and new product introductions.
• Be capable of understanding ACAD drawings [e.g. floor plans, schematics etc].
• To hold a good workable knowledge of the lighting product and solutions field in pursuit of the company’s goals and ambitions in the lighting market sector.
